Arrest made after police discover ‘large amount of cannabis’ in property

Thames Valley Police said the Class B drug was found after the north east Oxford neighbourhood team conducted a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant in Marston this morning (March 27).

Under the act, officers can be granted the authority to search a premises and people if they suspect the possession, production or supplying of drugs.

‘Noticeable change’ in Botley Road progress noted in crunch meeting

Police said a ‘large amount of cannabis’ was seized from the property.

One person was arrested on suspicion of the cultivation of cannabis.

A statement issued by the police force this afternoon said: “If you have concerns over an address near you, please report this to us.”
